Car Parking

Car parking is available over two levels of the basement at Riverlight. An additional 12 spaces will be provided at ground level, between Riverlight Five and Six for drop off, deliveries, and be inclusive of four Car Club vehicle spaces, two of the twelve spaces will be for disabled use only.

All vehicle access to the development will be via Kirtling Street. There is a gated entrance to the basement car park. A key FOB operation service gate will allow residents, with a key FOB to operate the access gate and enter the basement Car Park2.

A Right To Park (RTP) scheme is in place at Riverlight. The option to purchase a space may have been offered at the time of reservation.

What is the ‘unallocated right to park’ scheme?

An unallocated right to park space allows Residents to park their car in the basement car park, however these are not specifically allocated spaces. There will always be available parking for those that hold a right to park. It simply means that to park you may not have the same space each time.

Can I permanently park on the surrounding residential streets?

You will not be entitled to a residents parking permit for the surrounding roads near the development. From June 2001 local councils introduced a stipulation when granting planning permission excluding larger developments from existing and future Controlled Parking Zones (CPZ). Should you park on a local street you will have to observe the restrictions in place.


The Residents Courtesy Bus Service operates between Riverlight and Vauxhall Underground & Mainline Train station.

Riverlight will have up to 50 bicycles onsite as part of the Mayors Cycle Hire scheme which will be available 24 hours a day, all year round.
